Doxing is when someone shares your personal information in a public forum (like X or Facebook). While the information may technically be publicly available, it is still a violation and can lead to a range of consequences. If you are doxed, remember that it is not your fault, as doxing is a form of abuse. However, there are steps you can take to make it more difficult for people to dox you and there are also steps you can take to support someone who is being doxed.
